I am currently a graduate student at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism anticipating completion of the program in 2021. As a former news reporter at the NHK (Japan's Public Broadcaster), I covered everything from disasters and incidents to current trends and public health concerns. My reporting interests include politics, migration, race and identity, and social security.
